M.Ed. Educational Leadership & Principal Certification (Hybrid)

The Educational M.Ed. degree serves as an entry into the broad study of how educational organizations function. The primary focus of the program is on K-12 educational organizations. The difference between this listing and the M.Ed. Educational Leadership listing is the delivery method. Application requirements and course curriculum are the same. Our hybrid courses are delivered on-line in the fall and spring semesters and each summer we offer academic and professional institutes face to face in Bethlehem, PA.

M.Ed. only

Our Master's of Education in Educational Leadership (30 credits) is designed for individuals who work within educational settings around the world. It serves as the foundation for individuals pursuing a principal's position in an international school. The program of study places emphasis on the broad topics of leadership, management, curriculum, and student learning within the context of an  international setting.

Students are usually capable of completing their Master's Degree program in two consecutive calendar years using Lehigh's hybrid model of online technology-based course work and face-to-face summer sessions. Students are required to attend two consecutive Summer Institutes during their graduate studies.  Principal Certification requires additional time.

We encourage prospective students to begin their program by enrolling in courses during our Summer Institute. The Summer Institute is intended for doctoral and master's degree students as well as professional development students.
