Principals' Training Center (PTC) Partnership

Since 2001, the Global Online Graduate Degree and Training Office and the Principals' Training Center (PTC) have partnered to offer graduate credit for people taking courses with PTC in Miami and London. Students who apply for admission, are accepted, AND enroll in the M.Ed. Program in Educational Leadership within four (4) years of completing the first PTC course may earn graduate credit.

Representatives from the Global Online Graduate Degree and Training Office attend the PTC Institute in Miami to answer questions potential applicants may have about the Lehigh-PTC partnership and the benefits afforded to the students who take part in the programs.  In London, information with Lehigh email contact information is provided.

Students who are seeking Lehigh graduate credit must have:
  • A minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale for the Master’s  Degree in Educational Leadership
  • A completed Lehigh application for admission
  • $450 fee paid to PTC
  • Students can transfer up to nine (9) PTC credits, three (3) courses to Lehigh.  Approval of transfer credits is given only by the College of Education and the Lehigh Registrar.
The M.Ed. in Educational Leadership degree is 30 credits and is designed to prepare professionals in school leadership.  The program emphasizes management, curriculum, and administration.  Special emphasis is placed on leadership in the international school setting.
