Restorative Justice Practices in Schools | Education

Event Date:
Saturday, March 30, 2019 - 8:30am to 12:30pm
Location:
Rauch Business Center 184
Please join us on March 30th for a half day event focusing on restorative justice practices. The use of zero-tolerance policies has led to more failed student coursework, chronic absenteeism, disengagement, dropout as well as creating racial disparities when it comes to disciplinary actions for students. Restorative practices have the potential to transform a school’s disciplinary policies to focus on building and nurturing relationships as well as repairing the harm done to others. Come learn how this framework has been integrated within the local Bethlehem area school district. The event is free with breakfast and lunch provided. Please RSVP with the link on the flyer (https://goo.gl/forms/4H0TQ65n2JeRseVF3).
