Dr. Michael George, Director - Centennial School
The director of the Centennial School welcomed representatives of the U.S. Department of Education’s Office for Civil Rights to the school in May to observe best practices for dealing with students with behavioral problems. Told their visit could help inform federal policy on the use of restraint and seclusion, George once again found Centennial School in the spotlight for adhering to Positive Behavioral Intervention and Supports Techniques. Centennial School, governed by Lehigh University’s College of Education, was featured in last year’s article, Respect Begets Respect.
