On May 8th, 2013 the Lehigh University School Study Council recognized two outstanding superintendents for their hard work and dedication to both the students they serve and the peers that they support. Dr. Thomas Seidenberger received the National School Development Council (NSDC) Award for Cooperative Leadership and Dr. Joseph Roy was presented the University Council of Educational Administrators (UCEA) Award for Excellence in Educational Leadership. Dr. Thomas Seidenberger is an experienced educational leader who has made a profound difference in the lives of thousands of people throughout his long and distinguished career. He is a servant leader whose skills and knowledge greatly enhance all educational organizations that are fortunate enough to engage his services. At Lehigh Dr. Joseph Roy has assisted in the design of the new superintendent program of study, taught courses in both the principal and superintendent program, and mentored full time interns for superintendent certification process. He has worked actively with Lehigh faculty in ensuring that our principal and superintendent candidates have access to his leadership team for fieldwork and research opportunities.
