Academic Programs

Dr. Laracy is a certified school psychologist with experience working in local public schools. As a practicing psychologist, he focused on promoting data-based decision making and culturally competent and evidence-based assessment, consultation, and intervention. His experiences have allowed him to develop expertise in cognitive and academic assessment, behavioral assessment and intervention, reading development, pediatric school psychology, behavioral sleep interventions, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, mood and anxiety disorders, trauma sensitivity, and supervision. He uses this range of experience to inform the supervision he provides to school psychology students in his current role as Director of Clinical Training for the school psychology program.
