Dr. Thomas C. Hammond

Dr. Hammond’s research interests focus on innovative curriculum approaches, integrating powerful technologies (such as geospatial tools, immersive virtual reality, and generative artificial intelligence) and critical thinking skills (such as spatial reasoning, computational thinking, and systems perspectives). While at the University of Virginia, Tom was a designer, developer, and researcher of Primary Access, the first online video editor designed for K-12 instruction.
