A Message from Dean Hojnoski

COE Faculty, Staff and Students,

Whether the recent break was a few carefully chosen days or several weeks that blurred together, welcome back from what I hope was a restorative time spent doing the things you enjoy with those you cherish.

We welcome the new year with a perspective formed from the optimism of a fresh start, the enthusiasm for yet-to-be-discovered possibilities, and the determination of a renewed sense of purpose.

I invite you to explore the College’s new website which, through its new look and added features, connects users to our core mission and the inspiring people dedicated to bringing it to life. As we look to expand our commitment to transformative learning, we are excited to offer the first Lehigh undergraduate course in Learning Sciences this spring - thank you, Dr. Zengilowski! On April 11, from 4-6 p.m. (location TBD), we will host our first student research symposium that will highlight COE leadership in high-impact research - thank you, Dr. Dever!. I’m looking forward to this event and hope you will join me in celebrating our work.

For updates on these and our other plans to share the good work of the COE, I encourage you to check out our newsletter and social media posts. I welcome your questions and suggestions -send me an email, or stop by on the third floor when you are in the building. Together, we can look forward to a year of new and important achievements across our local, global and online communities.

Our best work is ahead, so have a great weekend, and we’ll see you on Monday!

Robin Hojnoski, PhD
