Iacocca Hallways Showcase Local K-12 Artists

For Liz Sims, a doctoral student in the COE's Educational Leadership program, the blank walls of Iacocca Hall provided inspiration. Sims, who teaches art full-time at Valley Forge Elementary, recognized an opportunity to bridge the gap between the COE’s graduate training and the creative energy of local K-12 classrooms.

Shera Selected as Dissertation Award Recipient

Samantha Shera has been selected as the 2026 recipient of the Elizabeth V. Stout Dissertation Award for her dissertation titled, “The Mediating Effect of Motivation between Academic Self-Concept, School Connectedness, and College and Career Readiness for Students with/at-risk for Emotional and Behavioral Disorders.”  Shera is a doctoral student in the COE's School Psychology program.

Lehigh professors receive grant to help address mental health care language gap with AI training tool

At a time when many people seeking mental health care still struggle to find a clinician who understands their language and culture, two Lehigh University researchers, along with a third from George Mason University, have received grant support from Lehigh University for a project aimed at helping train providers to close that gap.
