Lauriello Mixes Teaching, Mentorship and Research to Create a Career in Behavior Analysis

Jennifer Lauriello oversees clinical operations for Lehigh University Autism Services (LUAS) and  provides supervision for the Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) who work directly with clients.

Working at LUAS and enrolling in the COE’s Special Education doctoral program have allowed Lauriello to grow her clinical skill set, while developing and implementing interventions in a clinical setting. Her position also allows her to teach future clinicians and LUAS staff  to incorporate naturalistic interventions with clients.

Aimee Adams

Aimee Adams Helps Counseling Psychology Foster Online Community

Aimee Adams is a familiar face to many in the COE. She’s been teaching courses as an adjunct in the Counseling Psychology program since 2010. This year, Adams joined the COE faculty as a full-time, visiting assistant professor. In her new role, she serves as clinical coordinator and academic advisor for the new master's degree in Mental Health Counseling. In addition to teaching courses for the online master's degree, Adams teaches on-campus courses in the COE’s Counseling Psychology program.

Oldenburg University

Doctoral Student Exchange Available

Are you interested in a funded opportunity to connect with doctoral students at the University of Oldenburg in Germany?

Lehigh University and the University of Oldenburg match doctoral students each year for a funded student-led short-term exchange. The Lehigh student and Oldenburg student will both visit each others institutions for two-weeks as part of the program. Apply for this is a unique opportunity to learn about education in another country, share your research, and connect with doctoral students abroad. The selected Lehigh student will receive $2000 in funding to cover expenses associated with the exchange.

Cameron Anglum

Anglum's Work Cited in White House Report

The work of Educational Leadership faculty member J. Cameron Anglum was cited in the White House's annual Economic Report of the President, which was released last week. His paper (cited on page 259) examines the federal school funding response to the Great Recession to draw lessons for federal pandemic relief funding in public schools nationwide.

Whether the recent break was a few carefully chosen days or several weeks that blurred together, welcome back from what I hope was a restorative time spent doing the things you enjoy with those you cherish.

We welcome the new year with a perspective formed from the optimism of a fresh start, the enthusiasm for yet-to-be-discovered possibilities, and the determination of a renewed sense of purpose.
