M.Ed., Educational Leadership, Global

About

The M.Ed. Educational Leadership, Global program is designed for educators working in international schools across the globe. This recently redesigned program includes 10 courses now offered entirely online to better suit the needs of international educators. Join the next cohort of aspiring leaders.

The course content and skills acquisition in the program are designed to balance the latest research in educational leadership with practical, relevant experiences for current and future school leaders. Courses are intentionally designed to apply your past and current experiences to the new theories you learn and prepare you for effective leadership in international schools. You will also enhance your research and writing skills at the graduate level.

The master's degree is professionally focused and our alumni work as principals, school heads, school directors, superintendents, curriculum directors, teacher leaders, education consultants and education policy advisors across the globe in international schools and in their home countries. The master’s program can serve as preparation towards a principal certification or a doctoral degree.

Students start in the fall and complete the program in 16 months following the course sequence listed below. Courses are primarily online asynchronous and can be completed on your own time. Some courses include synchronous course meetings offered at a time reaching the widest number of students.
