Overview
Learning sciences is an interdisciplinary field with a focus on problem-solving, research, and technology that can help people design innovative solutions for learning in a rapidly changing world. In the Learning Sciences minor, students will draw on areas such as cognitive science, psychology, data science, and education to create more effective and equitable learning environments while supporting individuals in classrooms, apps, workplaces and beyond. This minor will be highly applicable to undergraduates from various disciplines. They will engage in hands-on experiences with how the learning sciences field is relevant to their current lives as students, their major concentrations, and their future trajectories. The Learning Sciences is a 5 course (15-credit) undergraduate minor.
