A fresh, new idea is growing—quite literally—on the Mountaintop Campus, home to the College of Education. On a hill near the staff parking lot is an organic garden with eight small raised beds. In those beds have been planted the seeds of a program that, if properly nurtured, could one day help teachers feed their students’ bodies, as well as their minds.
Dr. George DuPaul, a professor in the COE's School Psychology program and an expert in ADHD research, was recently a guest on the podcast, "Not Your Average School Psychologist." Program alumnae Laura Rutherford and Lisa Thomas host the podcast and lead this engaging conversation with DuPaul.
Educational Leadership alumna Megan Hauser '24g recently started a new role as Project Researcher for the Family Benefits Lab at the Beeck Center for Social Impact + Innovation at Georgetown University.
Kallie (Ziltz) Pearl '16 '17 '18G '24 Ph.D. is a four-time Lehigh alumna, most recently graduating from the College of Education’s Teaching, Learning and Technology (TLT) program with her doctoral degree.
Pearl joined the P.C. Rossin College of Engineering and Applied Science faculty in 2020, where she has developed innovative ways to engage students—especially women and other underrepresented populations—in computer science.
