Listening Differently Workshop
Join us for a workshop that will provide you the skills both to listen differently and listen for difference. Speaking and listening are learned skills, typically influenced by cultures, genders, and social classes. In this interactive workshop, you will be able to learn more about the context of listening and speaking, try different methods, and create an action plan for more inclusive listening and conversation practices. The workshop will be geared towards applying these skills in educational settings. Coffee, tea, and lunch from Sizzling Bites will be provided! ☕🥙🍟 RSVP HERE This workshop is co-hosted with the Gender, Leadership & Empowerment Center and the College of Education's Multicultural Resource Center as part of International Education Week at Lehigh. 📅 Date & Time: Wednesday, Nov. 19 @ 11:30 AM - 12:30 PM 📍 Location: Multicultural Resource Center (Room B-103), Iacocca Hall, Mountaintop Campus 🚌 Transportation: use the Mountaintop Connector bus route or check the new Mountaintop website for driving/parking information
