Dissertation Defense: Mike Faccinetto

The College of Education has scheduled the final oral examination of Mike Faccinetto for the degree of Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership. The title of his dissertation is “Access and Support for School-Based Theater Programs.”
This mixed-methods, multiple-case study examines accessibility and institutional support of high school theater programs across five schools. Grounded in Social Reproduction Theory, the study analyzes district-level resources, parent-run organizations, and student participation patterns to understand how structural conditions shape access, belonging, and equity in school-based theater.
