Academic Programs

Dr. Aimee Adams has worked in a variety of clinical settings, including hospitals, community mental health agencies, private practice and university counseling centers. In addition to teaching, Dr. Adams provides individual therapy services to adolescents and adults. Her clinical and scholarly interests include the treatment of anxiety and mood concerns, identity development, cultural humility in psychotherapy, and animal assisted interventions. Prior to joining Lehigh University as a visiting professor, Dr. Adams served as the director of a university counseling center’s clinical training program and taught courses as an adjunct instructor in the Lehigh University Counseling Psychology programs.
