Dr. Nuutari Grenier is a Teaching Assistant Professor at Lehigh University. Their clinical experience focuses on providing trauma-informed mental health care and LGBTQIA+ affirmative clinical services across diverse clinical settings. Their work has included providing forensic evaluation, psychological assessment, and psychotherapy services at the Audrey Hepburn Children's House, the Northern Regional Diagnostic and Treatment Center for Child Maltreatment in New Jersey (RDTC), as well as LGBTQIA+ affirmative therapy in university counseling and outpatient settings. Dr. Grenier's scholarship focuses on transgender identity development, resilience and psychosocial outcomes among transgender and gender-diverse populations, and the use of tabletop role-playing games (TTRPGs) to examine identity development and mental health. Their teaching and clinical interests include multicultural counseling, cultural humility in clinical services, intersectionality, and the preparation of culturally responsive mental health counselors.
