Academic Programs

Dr. Terrina Brooks is a licensed psychologist with extensive experience providing individual and group therapy, crisis intervention services, clinical supervision, and diversity training. Trained as a generalist in Counseling Psychology, with a focus on multiculturalism and intersectionality, Dr. Brooks has worked with diverse populations in various settings such as counseling centers, hospital settings, and private practice. She teaches graduate psychology courses within the Counseling Psychology program and is the clinical coordinator for the program. Her clinical and scholarly interests include: cultural humility in psychotherapy, young adult mental health, clinical supervision and training, and the intersection of spirituality and psychology. Dr. Brooks earned both her Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology and M.Ed. in Counseling & Human Services at Lehigh University. She completed her undergraduate degree in psychology at Howard University.
