Anglum Op Ed Featured in Philadelphia Inquirer

Amid new challenges to research funding and the value of scientific research more broadly, Educational Leadership faculty member J. Cameron Anglum authored an op-ed in The Philadelphia Inquirer, arguing for the importance of evidence-based education policy making in Pennsylvania regarding school funding and school choice across the Commonwealth.

    Dylan Fedell

    Fedell Receives Classroom Grant, Awards

    Congratulations to Dylan Fedell, a student in the COE's Supervisor of Curriculm and Instruction certification. Fedell has received a Pennsylvania Association of School Retirees’ Stock the Classroom Grant. The Palisades High School science teacher will use the $5,000 award to start an aquaponics program at his school.

    Fedell was awarded a Pennsylvania Power & Light Corporation’s STEM (Science, Technology Engineering, and Math) Educator award in January to support his work in the classroom. He is also the recipient of a Presidential Award for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching (PAEMST).

    COE Grad Students Present at 2025 Colloquium

    What a great event! Thirty-three COE graduate students shared their high-impact research at the Inaugural College of Education Student Research Colloquium last Friday. Students from the Counseling Psychology, Educational Leadership, School Psychology, Special Education and Teaching, Learning and Technology programs participated in the Mountaintop campus poster session.

    Fogt Provides Strategies for School Leaders

    In response to a need for strategies to address student behavior concerns, the COE held a networking event, Strategies for School Leaders: Addressing Problem Behavior, on March 26 on Lehigh's Mountaintop campus. Julie Fogt provided an engaging keynote address along with opportunities for local leaders to share strategies with each other.
