Instructional Technology Master's Student, Joseph Zacher Wins the PA Association of Family and Consumer Sciences Teacher of the Year Award

Instructional Technology Master's Student, Joseph Zacher was awarded the PAFCS 2019 Teacher of the Year. The award reflects Joe's dedication and contributions to the family and consumer sciences profession. Joe is a 2015 graduate of Marywood College with a degree in Fmaily and Consumer Sciences and is currently earning his Master's degree is Instructional Technology at Lehigh Univeristy. 

The award recognizes Joe's outstanding commitment to a vision that supports the profession and recognizes the significance of the PAFC professional organization.  

Committee Chair, Gretchen Finney stated "that Joe's student leave his classes with a sense of preparedness for life outside of the classroom, not to mention cultural recognition they may not have experienced elsewhere. The real-world skills they are learning are applied to their lives each and every day."  

Joe will be finishing his studies at Lehigh at the end of the summer 2019 semester.
