Joy in Education Ice Cream Celebration and Get Joy Soft Opening
Now that the school year is officially wrapping up, we want to take a moment to celebrate! Please join us at the soft opening of Get Joy Ice Cream and Coffee Shop on June 23.
As you know, the College of Education at Lehigh University held a yearlong Joy in Education campaign with the aim of providing educators with opportunities to come together and find community, support and joy in our work. We are hosting an event to thank those who participated in the campaign, and we invite COE students, staff and faculty to join the celebration.
You are welcome to bring family and friends. Please note that Get Joy is cashless, so if you are planning to buy treats, bring a card.
To help us plan, please let us know if you'll be joining us by completing the RSVP form. If you can't make it, we encourage you to stop by Get Joy another time. Founded by educators (Sara Heintzelman from Centennial School and her husband, Michael, founder of Varsity Summer Academy), Get Joy employs individuals with different abilities—a mission that Lehigh's College of Education is proud to support!
