Burke Joins Special Education Faculty

The College of Education welcomes Assistant Professor Kathryn Burke to the Special Education program.
Burke's research focuses on promoting self-determination, inclusion, and quality of life across the lifespan for people with disabilities. Formerly a special education teacher in Philadelphia, she is passionate about advancing strengths-based inclusive education, employment, and community engagement through scholarship, teaching, and service.
Burke earned her doctoral degree from the University of Kansas and her master's and undergraduate degrees from Lehigh.
