Please join us in welcoming Lee Her to the COE faculty! Her is an assistant professor in the Teaching, Learning and Technology program.
Her research focuses broadly on heritage language maintenance for linguistically minoritized communities through an examination of language policies in overlapping domains. Currently, she is interested in how dual language bilingual education policies –formal and informal– shape Hmong heritage language maintenance. Her research aims to investigate issues of equity, concerning the Hmong language in classroom language policy, institutional language policy and family language policy.
