Our School Psychology faculty and students represented the COE at the National Association of School Psychologists conference in Seattle last week. Among those presenting were Hannah Crespy, Nathan Kirk, Katherine Lopez, and Cate Blumberg (pictured with Dr. Ethan Van Norman).
The Center for Community-Driven Assistive Technologies (CDAT) will focus on life transitions, mobility enhancement, everyday activities, and access to living, working and learning spaces led by George DuPaul, professor of school psychology, and Vinod Namboodiri, Forlenza Chair of Health Innovation and Technology and professor of computer science and engineering.
Katrina Hermetet 15, Vice President of Medical & Scientific Affairs at the Tourette Association of America, contributed to an article that provides TLC viewers with valuable insights into Tourette Syndrome and tic disorders. It’s a resource designed to help audiences better understand what they’re seeing and foster greater understanding. Hermetet also makes an appearance in Episode 3 of “Baylen Out Loud” and provided medical advisory for all information about TS throughout the series.
Lia Sandilos, assistant professor in the COE's School Psychology program, was recently awarded a Frank Hook Assistant Professorship for academic years 2024 - 2025 and 2025 - 2026. Frank Hook Assistant Professorships are awarded to Lehigh’s most outstanding junior scholar-teachers who also foster personal interaction and mentoring relationships with students.
