Teaching Lehigh Valley History Through Virtual Reality

A series of six immersive learning experiences teach students of all ages about environmental and industrial history of the Lehigh Valley. Al Bodzin, a professor in the COE's Teaching, Learning and Technology program, hopes the games will help area residents learn about concepts such as the local watershed, flooding preparedness and the impact of early industries.

    Student Spotlight: Jake Stalsitz

    A student athlete pursuing a journalism degree, Jake is also enrolled in the COE's 4+1 Accelerated Master's Program for early childhood education. He grew up in the Lehigh Valley and always wanted to go to Lehigh. When he was younger, he thought he would become an engineer, but an experience coaching youth football inspired him to become a teacher instead.
