Quiroz Awarded Fulbright Scholarship

Armando Quiroz ’27 Ed.D. has been selected as a Fulbright Scholar for the 2025-26 academic year. A doctoral student in the COE's Educational Leadership program, he chose the Philippines for his Scholarship location.
“The Philippines offers an interesting context for study with the rollout of the Special Program in Foreign Languages (SPFL) about fifteen years ago," Quiroz said. "The program is still in its relative infancy and this area of research offers a unique opportunity to highlight leadership practices that can sustain world languages programs, guide expansion efforts, and support continuous improvement.”
