The M.Ed. Teaching & Learning program at Lehigh University is a 30-credit, two-year online and hybrid master's program that prepares candidates to design learning for a variety of student audiences.

Learning happens everywhere, not just in schools. Today’s educators are found in classrooms, corporate training rooms, museums, nonprofits, and digital environments around the world. What unites them is a shared goal: creating meaningful learning experiences that engage, inspire, and drive real outcomes.

Lehigh’s M.Ed. in Teaching & Learning prepares you to design and lead effective learning across a wide range of settings. Whether you are a classroom teacher, corporate trainer, instructional designer, non-formal educator, or working in an early childhood center, this program helps you deepen your understanding of how people learn,  and how to create impactful learning experiences in any learning environment.

Through a flexible and applied curriculum, you will explore learning theory, instructional design, and the integration of technology to support both in-person and online learning including asynchronous and hybrid formats. You’ll gain the skills to design learning that is engaging, accessible, and responsive to diverse audiences.
