This four-course certificate is suitable for educators who are seeking ways to infuse innovative game-based pedagogy into their formal or informal educational settings. Students will gain a rich understanding of cognition and instructional design that provides the foundation of these engaging teaching strategies.

Students who want to expand their expertise in learning design and emerging technologies can explore the online M.S. in Instructional Technology, which also offers a concentration focused on this area.
