2025 Summer Institute

COE Summer Institute Students Gather in Greece

Over forty students, faculty and staff from the College of Education (COE)'s Global Programs are gathered in Athens, Greece for the start of the 2025 Summer Institute. Each year this experience offers students working in education from across the globe an opportunity to engage with professors and fellow students in an in-person, intensive learning environment.

As part of the 2025 Institute, Chris Liang will teach Helping Skills in the International Setting and International School Counseling 1. Vanesa Mora Ringle will teach Diversity and Multicultural Perspectives, and Brooke Kohler will teach Small-Group School-Based Counseling. Julia Aughenbaugh, assistant director of COE Global Programs and Olivia Wojtowicz, a doctoral student and teaching assistant in the COE's Counseling Psychology program will provide support for this two-week session. Students attending the Institute are enrolled in the COE's International School Counseling certificate and master's degree, the College Admissions Counseling certificate, and the Global Educational Leadership master's degree programs.

The University of Athens is hosting Lehigh for the 2025 Summer Institute; classes will be taught at their main campus in Zografou (a neighborhood in Athens).
