Fogt Provides Strategies for School Leaders
Apr. 11, 2025
According to the Education Advisory Board’s 2022 State of Student Behavior survey, 81% of school administrators identified student behavior as a top concern, reflecting the growing challenges schools face in managing discipline and engagement post-pandemic.
In response to a need for strategies to address these concerns, the COE held a networking event, Strategies for School Leaders: Addressing Problem Behavior, on March 26 on Lehigh's Mountaintop campus. Julie Fogt provided an engaging keynote address along with opportunities for local leaders to share strategies with each other.
Fogt is the director of Centennial School and also serves as an affiliated professor in the COE where she teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in psychology, educational leadership and special education. She has extensive experience developing effective positive school-wide, class-wide and individual supports to assist children and adolescents with behavior disorders.
