Spring COE Newsletter Focuses on Research
The Spring 2025 issue of COE News focuses on research taking place across the College. COE Associate Dean for Research Bridget Dever introduces the issue:
As I look back on my first year as the COE's Associate Dean for Research, I appreciate the opportunity to support our talented faculty and students and promote their research. I am so proud of our many successes and the impact our research has in the communities we serve.
This year has also been significant for Lehigh research overall. We are pleased to share Lehigh's newly-designated R1 status. This promotion reflects the investment Lehigh has made to support research, including the high-impact work of COE faculty and students. Lehigh also announced two new research centers this yea and COE faculty are providing leadership and support in these efforts.
Earlier this month, we celebrated our graduate students with the inaugural COE Student Research Colloquium. Thank you to all of the students who participated and the faculty, staff and community members who attended. It was a great afternoon of community, celebration and enthusiastic conversations.
Many of our faculty and students have also been sharing their work at national and international conferences this spring — including the International Congress for School Effectiveness and Improvement (ICSEI), National Association of School Psychologists (NASP) and American Educational Research Association (AERA). You will find highlights from some of these conferences on our social media platforms, linked below.
Finally, I would also like to take this opportunity to congratulate our graduating students who will join the ranks of COE alumni in a few short weeks. We hope that you will stay in touch and share your successes with us as you move forward in your careers. We know that your best work is ahead.
