Children's Seashore House of Children's Hospital of Philadelphia

Children's Seashore House is affiliated with The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the University of Pennsylvania Schools of Medicine, Nursing and Social Work. Children's Seashore House provides interdisciplinary care for children with sub-acute medical needs, physical and/or developmental disabilities. The specialized care and rehabilitation hospital has six basic inpatient treatment areas: biobehavioral, developmental disabilities, feeding, musculoskeletal rehabilitation, neurorehabilitation and respiratory rehabilitation.  Outpatient programs that provide comprehensive interdisciplinary assessment and management include: applied behavior analysis, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, cerebral palsy, child development, cochlear implant, Down syndrome, feeding program, neonatal follow-up, neurorehabilitation and rheumatology. Staff includes professionals from Audiology, Child Psychiatry, Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics, Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Pediatric Psychology, Physiatry, Physical Therapy, Social Work, Special Education, and Speech and Language Pathology.
