Dr. Aimee Adams

Adjunct Professor

Dr. Adams’ clinical interests include working with children, adolescents, and adults in individual psychotherapy. She has worked extensively with college students and enjoys assisting individuals experiencing mood disorders, adjustment disorder, anxiety disorders, and cultural identity issues. Dr. Adams teaches graduate-level courses on topics including assessment in counseling, advanced research, and career development. Her research interests include animal-assisted interventions, professional issues, counselor multicultural competence, and nutrition-based interventions for mental health issues.
