Dr. Carol M. Richman

Adjunct Professor

Dr. Richman is a Licensed Psychologist with over 28 years of clinical experience. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree with honors in psychology from the State University of New York, College at New Paltz and her Master of Arts and Doctorate degrees, with honors, from Virginia Commonwealth University. Dr. Richman has worked in a wide range of settings from inpatient psychiatric hospitals, to day treatment programs, to her current private practice. Her areas of expertise include individual, family, couples and group counseling for depression, relationships, trauma, eating disorders, anxiety, stress, chronic pain, grief & loss, sexuality, and other issues.  In addition to her private practice, she is an Adjunct Professor in the Lehigh University graduate program in counseling psychology, where she has taught over 30 courses, including courses she created and developed for the program. Equally important to her life as a clinician and teacher, Dr. Richman is also involved with training and mentoring, and offer private supervision and coaching to early career therapists.
