Dr. Sarah A. Farris
Dr. Sarah Farris is a global educator with over 20 years experience working within international settings. Dr. Farris has served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Namibia, as well as an elementary classroom teacher and an elementary school counselor. Dr. Farris currently serves as dean of students in a large international school. Dr. Farris is a proud graduate of Lehigh University's College of Education and has enjoyed guiding aspiring international school counselors through their practicum (CPSY 457). Dr. Farris is passionate about social emotional learning (SEL) and explicitly teaching and embedding the Collaborative for Academic and Social Emotional Learning (CASEL) core competencies into all aspects of the school day. Outside of school, Dr. Farris is an avid indoor cyclist, enthusiastic coffee drinker, a bookworm, and aspiring author.
