Broughal Community School Adopted by LU Student Athletes for the Holidays

Hundreds of Lehigh University student athletes pulled together to make this Christmas a little brighter for some local families in need. University Athletics launched The "Adopt-A-Family" program 16 years ago. The movement has expanded campus wide in recent years to include campus faculty and staff, along with other student organizations.

 

This year, the university sponsored 50 families and more than 100 children. In total, more than $20,000 worth of gifts were handed out at a Christmas-themed party at Broughal Middle School in Bethlehem Thursday night.
