Exciting Announcements for Current COE Faculty

As the end of the semester comes to a close, COE has some exciting announcements regarding promotion and faculty awards.

Frank Hook Assistant Professor
Assistant Professor of Counseling Psychology, Dr. Germán A. Cadenas, has been named to the prestigious Frank Hook Assistant Professorship. This award is granted to junior faculty members who demonstrate extraordinary dedication to teaching. It was established in honor of Dr. Frank S. Hook, who from 1952 to 1989 taught in the University's Department of English.

Class of ‘61 Professorship
Dr. Craig Hochbein, Associate Professor of Educational Leadership, has received the Class of '61 Professorship. This highly competitive Professorship recognizes faculty who have achieved the rank of associate professor and have shown excellence in teaching, research, and service.

Promotions
Dr. Sara Kangas earned tenure and has been promoted to Associate Professor of Special Education. 
Dr. Bridget V. Dever has been promoted to Full Professor of School Psychology.
