Lehigh COE Announces New Tuition Incentive for Pennsylvania Educators

Thursday, April 7, 2022 - 12:30pm

BETHLEHEM, PA – Today, Lehigh University College of Education announced that effective summer 2022, it will offer a tuition incentive for Pennsylvania educators.

The incentive offers a 10% discount per credit on up to 18 credits per year, to any individual who holds a current Pennsylvania educator license or certification.

"We're thrilled to be able to expand this discount on tuition regardless of district or location,” says Jamie Kardos, Associate Director of Admissions, Recruiting and Graduate Programs.

Historically, the College has partnered with several local school districts to offer tuition scholarships to eligible district employees and it will continue to honor those contracts, while expanding the opportunity for educators state-wide.

COE offers several opportunities for professional development including non-degree courses, master’s and doctoral degrees, as well as certifications and certificates, all of which can enhance teaching careers for educators in the state.

"Choosing to pursue graduate work at COE is an excellent opportunity to engage with leading scholars and practitioners in the field”, says Professor and Associate Dean of Graduate Studies Dr. Robin Hojnoski. “Our courses leverage these two areas of strength to create a learning experience that bridges research to practice and prepares students to implement evidence-based practices in their own settings” she added.
