Dr. Lensi Nikolov

After obtaining a bachelor's degree in comparative literature from UC Berkeley, I joined Teach for America and taught 4th grade/ESL in Houston Independent School District. Having a love for language learning, I pursued a master's degree in second language education at McGill University in Montreal. I returned to teaching fourth grade after graduate school in Austin Independent School District before moving to Bethlehem with my family in 2009. Since then I have obtained a principal certification, supervisor of curriculum and instruction certification, and Ed.D. at Lehigh. My career has taken me from classroom teacher, to district curriculum coordinator, assistant principal, curriculum supervisor, elementary principal, and now middle school principal. I began teaching in the College of Ed in 2018 and thoroughly enjoy teaching pre- and in-service educators about English Learners.
