Creating Opportunities Everywhere: National Investments in STEM Education

Please join us for the 2024 COE Dean's Lecture. This year's speaker is Dr. James L. Moore III, Assistant Director, Directorate for STEM Education, U.S. National Science Foundation. With an annual budget of over $1 billion and personnel oversight for nearly 200 employees, Moore serves as the senior leader for EDU, which supports science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) projects focusing on K-12 education, undergraduate and graduate education, workforce and human resource development, and learning in formal and informal settings.

Dissertation Defense - Mariangela Perrella, College of Education

The College of Education has scheduled the final oral examination of Mariangela Perrella for the degree of Doctor of Education in School Psychology. The title of the dissertation is "Effects of a Dance/Movement Therapy-informed Adaptation of the Strong Kids Curriculum on Social-Emotional-Behavioral Outcomes of Students with Autism Spectrum Disorder." The examination is to be held at 11:00am on November 5, 2024 via zoom.

Kites Around the World

This is your chance to relive childhood memories and make new ones with friends! Learn about the history of kite making and its cultural significance around the world, while expressing your own heritage through kite making and decorating.
