Professional Development Certificate Programs

Certificate in Global Citizenship

The Certificate in Global Citizenship requires the completion of 19 credits, is open to undergraduates from all of Lehigh’s colleges, and prepares students for engaged living in a culturally diverse and rapidly changing world.

Learning Design in Educational and Professional Settings

Lehigh's 12-credit Certificate program is aimed at post-certification in-service teachers, informal educators, and professionals seeking to expand their pedagogical or andragogical skills and knowledge of learning design and instructional technology.  

Social, Emotional, and Behavioral Wellness Certificate

The Social, Emotional, and Behavioral Wellness Certificate Program is a 4-course, 12-credit program that has been designed to train both pre-service and in-service educators in meeting the social-emotional and mental health and needs of all students, and has been designed to meet the educational requirements for the Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) Social, Emotional, and Behavioral Wellness PreK-12 Endorsement.

Technology Use in the Schools

Lehigh's 12-credit Certificate program is aimed at post-certification in-service teachers, informal educators, and others seeking to expand their pedagogical skills and knowledge of instructional technology. Students enrolled in the Technology Use in the Schools certificate program will learn best practices in how to implement and integrate new and emerging instructional technologies to enhance learning outcomes in a variety of school settings and informal learning environments.
